Students & postdocs: Need help writing and presenting your application materials for science communication employment or short-term opportunities to gain experience in science writing and communcation? Come and begin to organize your portfolio of writing samples, and consider how to craft your cover letter for science communication jobs at an OCPD Application Materials Clinic (AMCs) specifically designed for PhDs and postdocs seeking a science communication and writing experience.
There are 20 spots, all for UCSF students and postdoctoral scholars, so please register in advance. A light lunch will be served.

Please bring a laptop and some of your science communication samples - podcasts, blog posts, writing samples - and let us help you learn more about how to present your work and develop a strategy for addiing to your portfolio. Don't have any of your documents started? Come anyway! This is a clinic, so we will facilitate you getting some work done.
